The John Kimball, Jr. House (c. 1730)

Kitchen & Bath Design Guide, March 2019

The John Kimball Jr. House has been a notable home on Ipswich’s High Street since 1730. The classic Georgian-style home had been through a series of remodels and additions over the past three centuries, with the last done in 2005. Some of the changes made over the years detracted from the original historic elements of the house. When the family of five came to Cummings Architects to ask for new windows, more storage, and a bigger kitchen, it was the perfect opportunity to give the home the historic renovation it needed, while giving more updated amenities to the homeowners.
